Hey. I just got that error, “Unable to parse the given SVG file. - Could not find root SVG node.”
I closed and re-opened Sketchup and VCarve.
This is the file I’m trying.
Try opening that file, highlighting all of the parts that you want to make and going to Edit>Copy.
Then open a new SketchUp file and go to Edit>Paste and see if it works…
